UT2007 - New shaky cam video *Third part available
If you don't like videos made with a handheld camera that is a bit shaky I suggest you stop reading now. However if you don't mind the shakiness then I suggest you click the read more link so that you can get to the latest video from Unreal Tournament 2007 which actually shows some new things.
The video is split into two parts and it gives us our first view of the map DM-CarbonFire as well as some of the weapons in the game. The hud as you can see looks the same but that is probably because they haven't even tried to change it yet. So without any further delays here are the links:

Update
The third part of the video is now available for all to see. It shows us a part of a very "unpolished" Torlan remake and some new vehicles. Be sure to listen in the beginning of the video as they have something important to say about the rocket launcher.

It has 300 ammo at starters whereas link has 220, so it's propably not slow.

well, they are running with gfx maxed out on a not optimized engine zeta ;)
and hell, dont even think i got 50fps stable if i max out EVERYTHING in ut2k4 on my pc so :)
i just hope to higher powers they have removed the fps cap in demos, its so fuckin annoying coz like 90% of all demos are STILL capped at 30fps, seems like dunno how to change it, or maybe they just aint smart enough, i dont know :p

Jiy, they never show movement since they don't even know how to dodge. And they only wanna let ppl see how nice the graphics are. Thats why we never see gameplay in a ut2kx trailer/leak/thing/something/whatever.
Anywayz, imo great that stinger is back and mini removed :D

Well, what's the point in showing movement to people who think dodge is a bug? I mean on an expo like that no one would care about the seeing the movement. Tbh it's only us, a very small part of the people that actual buys the game, that cares about it, so imo it's only natural to focus on gfx and things when they show it to the general public... I'm sure that if they would show it to a group of hardcore ut-players they wouldnt talk about the gfx as much since you have to adjust to your audience...

the game will be released soon, do u think th engine isnt optimized? wtf...
and i dont care if the game will sell good.. i mean so many ppl bought q4.. how many are playing it?

Well the game needs to sell good in the first place in order to get a lot of players... if they game is the best ever but no one buys it because it looks like crap then it's just a waste of time and effort :/ Let's say the game is 6 months away, that is plenty of time to change the balance of weapons and movement through playtesting.. let's just hope they got good playtesters :)

the game itself is still some 6 months off (probably goes gold in 7 and store rls in 7.5 - 8 months) zeta, that leaves plenty of time to optimize it and general bugfix and i dont know about you, but 6 months of developing is pretty much for a game that has most of the gameplay etc. already in place.
and the fact that ppl even NOW moan about the 50fps with max gfx makes me wonder how stupid you ppl really are sometimes, i cant recall ut2k3 to be any better at its release (not by much anyhow)
